Summary:       The Defendant filed a motion under 28 U.S.C. § 2255 to vacate, set aside, or correct sentence by a person in federal custody, arguing (1) that defense counsel was ineffective for failing to seek the suppression of statements that Defendant made to law enforcement officers; (2) that defense counsel was ineffective for failing to investigate whether law enforcement officers investigated other suspects for the crimes charged against him; and (3) that the statements he made to law enforcement officers were in violation of Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (1966). The Court dismissed the motion, finding that the Defendant did not receive ineffective assistance of counsel.
